So this week was exciting. It was (as usual) filled with weird and fun experiences, but oh so many good ones (also as usual).
I am happy to report that the Stuttgart sisters now have a new progressing investigator. I found S during an austellung about a month and a half ago, and we have met with her three times now. I talked about her last week, cause she's just that cool. When we met with her on Friday we actually found out that she had stayed for all of the international ward's church as well. So that is 6 HOURS OF CHURCH TOTAL. She said she was starving by the time she got home. Which is totally understandable. Even missionaries don't go to that much church. Anyway... S has some interesting opinions about prophets, and organized religion. So last time we gave her, "Why the Church?" by Elder Christopherson from last General Conference. She read it and came with questions and scriptures from the Bible to discuss. Which was so awesome! It really showed us how much interest she has in the church and that she truly cares to read and learn more about what we believe. So when we started to dive into that, it felt like she was very close minded and not willing to listen to what we had to add to the situation. But let me tell you folks, praying for revelation and for the Holy Ghost works. It works wonders. I was sitting there praying to know what to say and how to turn the situation around. By the end of the lesson she was so much more open. We ended up talking about faith and using it to help her strengthen her testimony of Prophets. It was definitely a testimony builder for all involved!! OH and she told us she'd start reading in the Book of Mormon (which she had previously been closed off to), she had downloaded the Gospel Library App for our appointment, and she came to Church on Sunday and stayed for all three hours of the International ward. I like S. She's cool and makes me happy.
So today we went to a McDonalds (which by the way is healthy here, and gross) BUT we get free wifi, so we can read our emails earlier in the day. We went to the one inside of Hauptbahnhof and there were pigeons inside the McDonalds. LIKE WHAT!? So weird. Well Sister Forsberg doesn't really like pigeons so she was trying to scare them away cause they came really close to us. But then she noticed this particular pigeon only had one leg. The other leg was just a stump and had no toes. So naturally, she felt sad for the pigeon and fed it instead of trying to scare it away. So that was funny.
Also, we walked through a German Cemetery today. They are so beautiful here. And HUGE.
LOVE YOU ALL. HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK SHARING THE WONDERFUL LIGHT OF CHRIST WE ALL HAVE!!
